Modular Full-Coverage Ballistic Vest

CATAPHRACT GEN3 is a next-generation integrated ballistic vest designed for users who require extended protection, modularity, and long-wear comfort in high-risk environments.

The vest is primarily built around soft ballistic protection, providing extended torso coverage. It also features internal front and rear hard plate pockets compatible with standard 25 × 30 cm / 10″ × 12″ ballistic plates, allowing the user to increase the level of protection depending on mission requirements.

CATAPHRACT GEN3 has been designed as a full-coverage protective platform for duty, tactical, and high-risk operations. Its modular construction allows the vest to be configured with additional ballistic components, including neck, throat, groin, arm, shoulder, and belt protection, enabling the user to adapt the coverage area to a specific operational profile.

The vest is made from Baucent monolithic laminate, providing high structural strength while reducing overall bulk. The internal Gambeson-style lining improves comfort, load distribution, and partially supports impact absorption during prolonged wear.

Integrated Ballistic Platform

This makes the vest suitable for users who require flexible ballistic protection with the option to increase the protection level in higher-threat situations.

Modular Full-Coverage Design

The vest supports a wide range of additional protective components, allowing the system to be expanded according to mission requirements.

Compatible accessories include:

• ballistic battle belt,

• groin protector,

• arm / shoulder protection,

• throat guard,

• neck / collar protection module,

• dangler pouch.

The vest is supplied in its duty configuration with ballistic shoulder pads. Neck protection is available separately, while upgraded mounting points for optional throat and collar modules are already integrated into the vest construction.

Laser-Cut MOLLE Platform

The laser-cut MOLLE interface provides a low-profile and durable mounting system for pouches, equipment, and mission-specific accessories. The construction reduces bulk while maintaining strong load-bearing capability.

Replaceable Front Panel

The replaceable front panel allows the vest to be adapted to different operational roles, equipment configurations, or unit requirements. This increases the versatility of the system and extends the functional life of the platform.

Extended Identification Panels

Large Velcro areas on the front and rear of the vest allow the attachment of identification patches, unit markings, duty markings, or role-specific panels, ensuring clear visibility during operations.

Reinforced Evacuation Handle

A reinforced rear evacuation handle allows emergency extraction or dragging of the wearer when required.

Adjustable Fit System

The ladder-style shoulder adjustment system and Velcro-adjustable cummerbund allow the vest to be securely fitted to different body types. CATAPHRACT GEN3 is available with two sizes of main ballistic inserts and six sizes of ballistic cummerbunds, allowing for a more precise fit across various users and operational requirements.

The system can be expanded with optional ballistic components to increase protection for the neck, throat, shoulders, arms, groin, and lower torso. This allows the vest to be configured according to the threat level, mobility requirements, and mission type.
